A short priced favourite after drawing gate one, Celestial Spirit led all the way for Winona Costin to win by three-quarters of a length over Churchill (IRE) filly Lady Chartwell.
A $300,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Widden Stud draft for Laurel Oak/Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott Racing, Celestial Spirit was bred by Widden in partnership and is the first foal of Group III placed Sebring mare Positive Problems, a full sister to Group II placed Sebring Dream.

Widden Stud will present the second foal from Positive Problems, a filly by Written By at Magic Millions as Lot 382.Celestial Spirit is the third two year-old winner this season for Zoustar joining stakes-winner Brereton and Spinosaurus.
