Top 10 Pinhook Winners at NZB Ready to Run

The NZB Ready to Run Sale last week delivered strong results despite the issues arising from Covid and particularly for the top end of the market with 37 two-year-olds selling for over the $200,000 threshold, in comparison to 25 in 2020 and 30 in 2019.

This Pierro colt from Mary Lou was the top pinhook and was bought by Busuttin Racing / Group 1 Bloodstock / Ozzie Kheir.

Riversley Park produced five of the top 10 pinhooks and the top two with their best result the Pierro colt from Fastnet Rock mare Mary Lou that sold for $625,000 after being sourced from the Sledmere Stud draft at Inglis Easter for $150,000.

Deep Field colt from Bang On was bought by HK trainer Jimmy Ting.

Not far behind was their Deep Field colt from Bang On that sold for $470,000 after being purchased from the Evergreen Stud draft at Magic Millions for $125,000.

Deep Field provided three of the top 10 with his stock well favoured by the Hong Kong market.

Deep Field colt from Carlina was bought by HK based Me Tsui.

Regal Farm  got a great result with their Deep Field colt from Carlina that fetched $350,000 after being secured from the Lime Country Thoroughbreds draft at Inglis Classic for $70,000.
