Leading
Australian second crop sire all Too Hard added a new string to his bow when
siring his first South African winner at Greyville in South Africa on Friday
with an easy victory for Roy's Riviera.
Trained by Frank Robinson for prominent owner Roy Moodley, Roy's Riviera strode
clear to win the fillies and mares maiden over 1600 metres by two and a quarter
lengths at her third start following two previous placings.
Roy's Riviera was a $70,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Baramul Stud draft
for World Wide Bloodstock and is a half-sister to stakes-winner Sebring Sally
from the good producer Donna Amata.
Donna Amata has already foaled again this spring producing another filly for
Baramul Stud by Sebring.
All Too Hard is riding high with 11 Australian winners this season and stands
at Vinery Stud at a fee of $44,000.
