Quaddie attack Saturday

Breednet - Friday September 22

There is nothing better than cheering home the final leg to land a fat quaddie and Racenet’s analysts have put their heads together to give you a chance at a big dividend on Saturday.

Here are our suggested quadrella strategies.

Rosehill

1st leg

1, 2, 3, 5, 7

2nd leg

2, 3, 7, 9, 10

3rd leg

2, 4, 7

4th leg

1, 2, 3, 4, 10

375 Combinations

Analysis: Menari looks terribly hard to beat in the Golden Rose however, from a quaddie perspective we are hoping to see the short-priced favourite go under. We’re taking the favourite along with Pariah, Merchant Navy, Dracarys and Assimilate. We’ll shorten it up in the third leg where we’ve got it down to three main chances, Omei Sword, Daysee Doom and Bonny O’Reilly. The first and last legs are wide open.

$20 investment = 5.33%

Caulfield

1st leg

1, 3

2nd leg

2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 12

3rd leg

1, 5, 6, 9

4th leg

1, 7, 9, 11

224 Combinations

Analysis: Everest contender Brave Smash again looks the anchor in the first leg but we’ll take insurance with Keen Array. Only a narrow winner last time but he should be too good again. Really open and competitive second leg with many promising stayers engaged. Expecting Fuhryk to be hard to beat in the third after having no luck last start but will take insurance in a strong race. Petition is talented but drifted in betting first-up, should bounce back here but can’t go one out.

$20 investment = 8.92%

Ipswich

1st leg

1, 4, 9, 10

2nd leg

9, 14, 15

3rd leg

2, 4

4th leg

1, 2, 3, 6

96 Combinations

Analysis: Capetown Hussy looks hard to beat in the third leg after a strong win last start over the mile. She’s best over this trip and can make it two wins on the trot. Have to take the consistent Spring Tycoon as insurance. Freddie Foxtrot the other key runner in leg two. Going for three straight wins but will need some luck from the draw. Main chances the remaining legs.

$20 investment = 20.83%

Morphettville Parks

1st leg

1, 4, 6, 7

2nd leg

1, 2, 5

3rd leg

2, 4, 6

4th leg

1, 3, 13

108 combinations

Analysis: It’s hard to get away from the market at Morphettville on Saturday so we’ll be keeping it short and taking a high percentage. Moss 'N' Dale is the obvious class runner in the third leg and a heavy track would see him very short but we must take some insurance on the current conditions. Chamois Road is in great form and will be hard to beat.

$20 investment = 18.52%

Belmont

1st leg

2, 5

2nd leg

2, 3, 4, 5, 7

3rd leg

1, 3, 6, 7

4th leg

5, 6

80 Combinations

Analysis: The first and final legs of the Belmont quaddie is where will shorten things up. We’re quite keen on the chances of Young Gina in the opening leg of the quaddie which appreciated getting back onto a drier surface last start. First go at the distance but with William Pike sticking we’re confident he can get the job done again. Final Salute is the one they have to beat in the final leg on debut for the Adam Durrant stable. Unbeaten over the distance and has William Pike aboard also.

$20 investment = 25 %
