The 2021 Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale will be held at Riverside Stables next Tuesday and Valiant Stud’s Fergal Connolly will have his draft of six available for inspection in Sydney from this Saturday.
 



All youngsters performed well in their breeze up gallops with video clips available for all on their sale pages and the quickest of the group was Lot 167, a colt from the first crop of Russian Revolution from winning Testa Rossa mare Fiery Jest.

He sizzled over his final 200m in 10.22 seconds and has the added attraction of being eligible for both BOBS and Super VOBIS.

The handsome chestnut comes from a female family packed with Black Type, his dam a half-sister to a very good stakes-winner in Singapore in Spanish Bay, while Lucky Patch, who won Sunday’s Group II Premier Bowl winner at Sha Tin also appears in the pedigree.

 

Lot 54 is a striking son of exciting young sire Churchill (IRE), who has sired 22 first crop winners in Europe this year highlighted by three stakes-winners.

This striking colt from Group III placed Readyforcatherine is a half-brother to Group I winner Atlante, who is the sire of multiple Group I winner and Cox Plate contender Callsign Mav.


Lot 59 is a colt by Hallowed Crown, best known as the sire of $5million earning Australian Oaks and Golden Eagle winner Colette.

He is a full brother to promising three year-old Hallowed Son, who was second on debut in the $200,000 Inglis Scone Challenge and is a half-brother to Group II placed Skylight Glow from Rock of Kimberlite.

Lot 98 is a colt bred for speed being by Rich Enuff from a female family that has produced Golden Slipper winner Overreach and Blue Diamond winner Reward for Effort.

He is the third foal of Tranquil Harmony, an unraced half-sister to Group III winning sprinters Charmed Harmony, Suyoof and to the dam of brilliantly fast mare Minhaaj, who made $1.8million at the Magic Millions Broodmare Sale this year as a race filly and won the Group III ATC The Nivison at her first run for her new owners.

Lot 108 is a BOBS and Super VOBIS eligible filly and is one of only two fillies in this sale by outstanding sire Deep Field.

She is the second foal of Wind on Tide, a half-sister by Snitzel to Group III winner Detours.

Lot 136 is a colt eligible for Super VOBIS and SA Racing Rewards and is by the great Hong Kong champion Akeed Mofeed (GB).
