First Season Foals - Zousain

Breednet - Thursday October 14

We’re well into the season now and plenty of foals have found their way on to the Foal Gallery so we thought we’d take a look at some of the first foals of the first season sires, first-up Zousain.

A strongly built son of Zoustar, Zousain won at Group 2 level as a two year-old and was Group One placed in the J.J. Atkins, before finishing the narrowest of seconds in both the Gr1 Golden Rose and Gr1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.

He stands at Widden at $19,800 and served the second largest book of all the first season sires in his first year.
