Pedigree Potential – Ready to Run

Champion sire Savabeel has made a blazing start to the new season in Australia reeling off four stakes-winners since August 1 including impressive colt Forgot You (NZ), who won the Group II MVRC Stutt Stakes (1600m) on Friday night and is the latest stakes-winner bred on a phenomenally successful nick.

Forgot You is the 21st stakes-winner by Savabeel from a daughter of O’Reilly, the nick running at 74% winners to runners and 13.5% stakes-winners to runners

The four Australian stakes-winners this season for Savabeel – Mo’Unga, Atishu, Forget You and Probabeel – all have O’Reilly somewhere in their female pedigree with Mo’Unga and Forget You bred on the exact cross.

The presence of O’Reilly in the female pedigree of a Savabeel yearling does improve the chances for success with his overall stats covering all mares running at 72.3% winners to runners and 11% stakes-winners to runners.

Savabeel has 10 entries for the NZB Ready to Run Sale consigned by the following vendors: Ohukia Lodge (7), Riverrock Farm(1), Lilywhites Lodge (1) and Woburn Farm (1).

The following lots are from mares that have O’Reilly in their pedigree.

Lot 83 is a full brother to two winners and is a gelding from Daisy Chain , a Pins daughter of Group I winner Daffodil, whose dam is by O’Reilly, this family also producing Group I ATC Epsom Handicap contender Atishu (Savabeel).

Lot 107 is a full brother to Group I placed stakes-winner Milford from O’Reilly mare Etiquette, a full sister to four time Group I winner and sire Sacred Falls.

Lot 108 is a  full brother to Group I winner Savvy Coup and is from Pins mare Eudora, whose next dam is by O’Reilly, the family also producing triple Group I winner Probabeel (Savabeel).

Lot 175 is a brother to a winner and is from O’Reilly mare Lego, a sister to stakes-winning  Wolfwhistle from dual Group I winner Legs.
