HEAT FIVE 855m – 50.22 seconds- Aquis Farm’s Spieth posted his second winner at this set of trials when the Kacy Fodgen trained colt Victory Moments hit the line hard to beat $1,150,000 I Am Invincible colt Zambezi River by a length and three-quarters.
Victory Moments had trial experience having beaten his stablemate Wild Botanica in a heat at the Gold Coast on September 6.
Retained to race by his breeder, Victory Moments is bred to be up and running being the first foal of Tris, a Group III winning juvenile by Street Boss (USA).
HEAT FOUR 855m – 50.11 seconds – Last year we saw a Written Tycoon filly dominate at these trials in Enthaar and we saw another this morning with the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace trained Coolangatta scoring easily.
She travelled just off the pace and when asked to accelerate did so smoothly for James McDonald who had her under a hold all the way to win by more than three lengths.
A $280,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Milburn Creek draft for Ciaron Maher Bloodstock, Coolangatta was bred by Highclere Stud and is the second foal of Piping Hot, a metro winning More Than Ready (USA) half-sister to Group I Blue Diamond winner Reaan from Group II winner Ribe.

A $1,050,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Tony Fung Investments from the Vinery draft, Psychiatrist is trained by Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou. He is the first foal of winning Lonhro mare Sanity, a full sister to Group III winner Trim, the dam of Group III winner Manicure, who is by Exceed and Excel.

TWO-855m – 49.87 seconds – Aquis first season sire Spieth provided the winner here in the Kacy Fogden trained Wild Botanica, who had trial experience having finished second at the Gold Coast two weeks ago. She was very professional and had the benefit of the fence to score a half length win.
A homebred for Aquis, Wild Botanica is the first foal of good metro winning Foxwedge mare Colosimo, whose dam is a half-sister to stakes-winner Mutate.
A Group I placed stakes-winner by Thorn Park, Spieth stands at Aquis at a fee of $8,800.
HEAT ONE 855m - 50.05 seconds - A big good looking son of Maurice (Jpn), the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained colt Kibou led from the gates and kept going strongly to the line to win his heat by more than three lengths.
A $170,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Gai Waterhouse / Adrian Bott / Kestrel Thoroughbreds from the Arrowfield Stud draft, Kibou is from Fortiche, a winning half-sister by Any Given Saturday (USA) to Group II winner Mic Mac. She's had four named foals, but yet to throw a winner.
