Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Tuesday September 7

At the Australasian yearling sales of 2021 buyers were impressed with the progeny of a number of first season shuttle sires with their first Northern Hemisphere bred progeny running in Europe this year and Dubawi stallion Time Test (GB) has put his hand up as a stallion that astute investors need to know more about.

Shuttling to Little Avondale Stud from the National Stud at Newmarket in the UK, Time Test is a Juddmonte Farm bred sire that won multiple Group races and was also Group I placed.

Time Test (GB) is running at 25% stakes horses to runners!

An elite performer with an elite pedigree being from Dansili’s Group I winner Passage of Time, Time Test has been quick to make his mark at stud with six winners from 20 runners headed by Group III winners Romantic Time and Rocchigiani, stakes-winner Tardis and two more stakes-placed horses. (Read about his success here with a Group double last week).

Early statistics have him running at 25% stakes horses to runners which is impressive!

Time Test was well received at NZB’s 2021 National Yearling Sales Series, with 17 youngsters selling at an average of $65,824, but with the benefit of the knowledge we now have, his nine entries for the 2021 NZB Ready to Run Sale are entitled to even stronger consideration, click here to see them.

Woburn Farm will present three 2YO’s by Time Test, Riversley Park have two and the remainder will be offered by Ardsley Stud, JK Farm, Riverrock Farm and Brixton Farm.

Lot 164 is a colt with a European pedigree being a half-brother to stakes-placed Redeem the Dream from Knocknacrea (GB), a half-sister by Green Desert to Group II winner Flying Cloud and stakes-winner Captain Webb from the family of champion Australian 2YO and sire Pierro.

Lot 198 is another colt with an international flavour, this one is from US stakes-winner Megan’s Tough Love (USA), a Rahy mare that has already left three winners.

Lot 266 is the only Time Test filly in the sale and she’s from Fastnet Rock mare Ripple Rock, who has already produced two winners and is a half-sister to stakes-winner Heritiere.
