The Group I ATC Winx Stakes this afternoon will see the return of Godolphin’s Group I ATC Doncaster Handicap winner Cascadian (GB), whose two year-old half-brother Albahr won his first stakes race overnight in the UK.
A Godolphin homebred trained by Charlie Appleby, Dubawi colt Albahr was favourite for the Listed Stonehenge Stakes (1m) at Salisbury and ran out a determined three-quarter length winner.

after his first two starts in May and early June, Albahr has won both starts since, so has three wins from four starts.Albahr is the second stakes-winner among four winners from Group III winning Street Cry mare Falls of Lora and he is a three-quarter brother-in-blood to Group II winner Master of the Seas.
Albahr is the 210th stakes-winner worldwide for Dubawi and is the fourth stakes-winner for his sire bred from a daughter of Street Cry, the nick producing 11 winners from 12 runners and 33% stakes-winners to runners.
