Arrowfield’s founder & Chairman John Messara opens the presentation and is joined for the first time by one of his grandsons, John Jr who threatens to upstage his charismatic "Pa" with a pitch-perfect performance.

General Manager Paul Messara – son of John and father of John Jr – says, "Arrowfield is very much a family business, and as our own family grows, so do the stallion and broodmare dynasties we’re building here.

"We’re proud to present a roster that includes four home-bred horses, The Autumn Sun, Castelvecchio, Pariah & Showtime among nine stallions from five sire-lines, with all bases and fee levels covered, from a record-breaking Australian champion sire to a champion two-year-old out of Japan."

Paul adds, "Of course, we miss being able to host everyone on the farm at our Stallion Open House, but our in-house team, including my sister Susanne Gray, has created a virtual equivalent that I’m sure will help breeders to finalise their 2021 bookings."

Arrowfield’s stallion line-up is headed by four-time Champion Sire Snitzel and features two other sons of the great Redoute’s Choice, Champion 3YO Colt The Autumn Sun & brilliant juvenile Pariah.

Snitzel’s handsome Group-winning son Showtime takes Arrowfield’s spectacular history with the Danehill sire-line into the fourth generation.

Castelvecchio, a Group 1 winner at two and three, stands his second season alongside his sire Dundeel, whose five Group 1 winners from his first two crops mark him as a future Premiership winner.

Compelling international options are offered by Maurice (8 winners & 6 stakes performers among his first-crop Australian 2YOs), Shalaa (sire of leading 2YO Shaquero from his first crop) and newcomer Admire Mars, Japan’s 2018 Champion 2YO Colt and winner of the Hong Kong Mile G1 at three.
