Ronald McDonald House Needs Your Support!

Media Release - Wednesday July 7

It's that time of year again! As the horses' birthday approaches so does Bloodstockauction.com's annual Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney (RMHC GWS) Stallion Cover Charity Auction.

The past 18 months have been incredibly tough on everyone, filled with feelings of stress and anxiety.

For families with a seriously ill or injured child, these feelings are all too familiar which is why the support of RMHC GWS is so important, especially right now. Unfortunately, the ongoing COVID situation has forced RMHC GWS to suspend many of their fundraising activities and events. This has had an enormous impact on the charity, including a shortfall in funding, and will continue to for months to come.

This year, they need your help more than ever! Each year Bloodstockauction.com have successfully raised over $100,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney and they need your support in 2021 to make this the best auction yet!

Here are a few ways that you can help:

1. The first is to donate a stallion cover to be auctioned off in their 3rd August 2021 auction. They are fully aware that there are costs that studs need to cover, and for this reason studs have the option to donate 50% or 100% of the total sale proceeds to RMHC GWS.

2. If you don't have a stallion cover to donate, thats OK. The second way to make a difference is by bidding on and purchasing one of the many fantastic stallion covers up for auction for this coming breeding season. If you are on the lookout for a covering sire, set yourself a reminder, purchase a cover in the auction, and you can help keep families with sick children together during treatment.

3. If you are not in the market to purchase a cover, that’s OK too, the third way you can make a difference is by making a monetary donation to help boost the Stallion Cover Auction fundraising tally.
