With all the excitement of Royal Ascot last week it’s not surprising the second winner for Golden Slipper winner Mossfun was overlooked, but as a Frankel colt that won by seven and a half lengths we thought he was worth a story.
Breednet recently reported on the story of Mossfun’s first UK winner when Emirates Park’s homebred two year-old Frankel filly Sadmah won on debut at Haydock on June 8.

A year older than Sadmah, three year-old Dajraan is also trained by Kevin Ryan, but has taken a little longer to come to hand.
Not far away in three previous runs this year, Dajraan got his act together in no uncertain terms in the seven furlong maiden at Redcar last Friday running out a dominant winner as favoruite.
Racing Post offered a very positive assessment: Dajraan clicked for the first time and completely outclassed some modest opposition, always in control from the front and really pouring it on at the end. If he can be kept sound, his pedigree gives him scope for loads more improvement, so he could rack up a sequence.
