Holbrook Magic Weanlings for Gold Coast

After selling show stopping mare Celebrity Queen for $2.5million in Sydney two weeks ago, Julie Harris and her team at Holbrook Thoroughbreds have turned the focus back to weanlings and will present a quality draft of seven at the Gold Coast for the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale (May 20 & 21).

From the second crop of Pariah, a young sire that has sold well this year with yearlings selling for up to $375,000 and 67 selling in total at an average $101,798. Half-brother to three winners from the family of Group I winner Bawalaksana and Group winners Shaaheq, Arbeitsam and Payroll.

By leading second crop sire Pride of Dubai and is third foal of a three time winner from the family of Group I winner Bawalaksana and Group winners Shaaheq, Arbeitsam and Payroll. 2YO colt by Dundeel from Daisy Can Too sold for $380,000 to James Harron Bloodstock at Inglis Premier last year and has been named Dimension. Trained by Anthony and Sam Freedman, he has shown ability in his only trial to date and could be a sleeper on the pedigree page.

Juvenile Trial Watch – Rosehill
A busy set of trials at Rosehill on Monday morning featured four heats for juveniles and the winners were all unraced youngsters by Tassort, Too Darn Hot (GB), Super Seth and Golden Slipper winner Farnan, while a Wootton Bassett (GB) colt showed he could possibly still get to the Magic Millions 2YO Classic.
