Aussie Stakes-Winner in South Africa

Tara Madgwick - Sunday April 18

The Listed World Sports Sledgehammer Stakes (1750m) at Scottsville in South Africa on Sunday was won by Aussie bred gelding Crown Towers, another successful Mill Park graduate.

Trained by Justin Snaith, the Camelot (GB) gelding scored a long neck win in the feature race taking his overall record to seven wins from 18 starts, three of his wins in Black Type races.
 



Crown Towers was a $280,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Mill Park draft for Heywood Bloodstock / Mayfair Speculators  and is the best of four winners from Group II placed Galileo (IRE) mare Miss With Attitude.

Miss With Attitude has a weanling colt by The Autumn Sun and is back in foal to him again.
