Tasmanian Glitch Discovered in Sire Data Story

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday April 14

A data glitch  has been discovered in our sales results that has led to one significant change to our hugely popular story Sire Averages for All Sales – Food for Thought story with first season Tasmanian based sire Zululand featuring prominently on the table highlighting stallions that did well in terms of multiple of fee.

The blue-blooded son of Fastnet Rock had 15 yearlings sell at an average $42,067 returning an impressive 9.6 times his $4,400 service fee.

A magnificent type that was a $1.5million Inglis Easter yearling, Zululand also has a big pedigree as evidenced by his current yearling half-brother by Written Tycoon that made $1.1million at Inglis Easter last week when bought by Tom Magnier and James Bester Bloodstock.

Zululand

Given his credentials it will be no surprise to see Zululand more than make his mark in Tasmania for Grenville Stud in years to come.
