Brilliant grey dual Group I winning sprinter Caravaggio (USA) shuttled for just one season to Coolmore Australia and that crop of foals are being offered at our sales this year.
Another sire son of Scat Daddy, Caravaggio broke the ice with his first winner in Ireland overnight where Tenebrism scored an impressive debut win at Naas.
Trained by Aidan O’Brien and ridden by Seamie Heffernan, Tenebrism settled back in the field and powered to the line to win the five furlong maiden by three and three-quarter lengths running away indicating she may be a Royal Ascot prospect.

She was always very natural from day one and she’s able to quicken up very well which is what the dad was able to do,” Heffernan told Irishracing.com.“You would have to be very happy with her. It’s her first day away. She’s smart and we can look at all those quick races for her.”
Bred and retained to race by Coolmore and partners, Tenebrism is the third winner from dual Group I winning Pivotal mare Immortal Verse, who comes from the family of champion sire Last Tycoon.
Caravaggio has had 44 yearlings sell in Australasia at an average $84,170 this year and below are his top five sales.
