Unplaced
on wet ground at Randwick on debut last month, two year-old All Too Hard
gelding All Too Sweet showed his true form on a good surface at Hawkesbury on
Tuesday when beating the older horses.
Prepared by John Sargent, All Too Sweet raced up on the pace for Jeff Penza and
then kicked on strongly to win the 1300 metre maiden by half a neck.
A $320,000 Magic Millions purchase for George Moore Bloodstock from the Vinery
Stud draft, All Too Sweet is the first winner for US Group I winner Rightly So
(USA), who died last year.
Her second and final foal, another colt by All Too Hard made $270,000 for
Vinery Stud when purchased by Domeland at the Magic Millions this year.
All Too Sweet is the fourth winner for All Too Hard, who also had a second
place-getter on Tuesday with two year-old gelding Rocketcod finishing second at
his first run back from a spell at Geelong on the synthetic track.
All Too Hard stands at Vinery Stud this spring at the reduced fee of $44,000.
