Slipper Day Sale Mail

Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 18

Golden Slipper Day at Rosehill is one of the best days of racing in Australia featuring nine stakes races – five of them Group I – so let’s take a look at the sale mail to see who bought and sold this year’s runners and see which stallion is the most represented.

Our established champion sires are ‘champion sires’ for the reason of delivering the goods on the big days so it’s no surprise that I Am Invincible and Snitzel are the most represented sires at Rosehill with six runners each.

I Am Invincible is chasing his first Golden Slipper winner with a serious contender in Home Affairs, while Snitzel is chasing his second with the unbeaten filly Four Moves Ahead.

One behind with five runners is Not a Single Doubt, who sired last year's Slipper winner Farnan and will also have Slipper runners this year in Mallory and Queen of Wizardry.
