In It To Win It!

Tara Madgwick - Thursday September 14
The Spring Carnival is in full swing so we have stakes racing every weekend as well as Newcastle on Friday and for breeders and stallion owners it’s all about which sires are doing well and getting the stakes winners when it counts - to get them you need runners, so let’s take a look into the Breednet crystal ball to see which stallions can fire up this weekend.

Surprise, surprise, Snitzel again has the most representation in stakes races with 13 contenders. Three year-olds account for the bulk of his runners, but also worth watching are his Everest contender Redzel and progressive mare Lubiton.

No longer with us, High Chaparral is next on the list with 10 contenders, although really nine as Whispered Secret is a dual acceptor.

Not a Single Doubt and Street Cry (IRE) are next on eight stakes runners apiece, closely followed by Sebring with seven and I Am Invincible with six.
