Aquis Racehorse Reduction Highlights Inglis Digital March (Early) Online

A huge Inglis Digital catalogue of 360 lots has launched for bidding this afternoon, with highlights including an Aquis Farm racehorse reduction (35 lots) and 13 broodmares offered by Corumbene Stud.

The 360-strong catalogue comprises of 172 racehorses (71 race fillies/mares), 128 broodmares, 26 yearlings, five weanlings, 24 racehorse shares and two stallions.

There is an abundance of quality stock on offer in the March (Early) Online Sale, just a few of the highlights are:

• Annifrid – Snitzel mare from Stakes-placed Arrival and a half sister to Assertive Approach, offered by Mullaglass Stud (as agent), in foal to Vancouver

• Chateau Griffo – winning Sebring mare that was placed in the G3 Blue Diamond Preview on debut and has produced colts by Capitalist and Trapeze Artist respectively

• Cochrane – 2YO gelding that was runner-up in the Listed Phelan Ready Stakes as a pre-Christmas 2YO and ran 4th in a $125,000 2YO Plate on February 27

• Curl Up – winning half sister to Champagne Cuddles, offered in foal to Shamus Award by Rosemont Stud

• Jemss – 3YO filly from the ‘Leica’ family, that was placed in the G3 Magic Night, offered as a breeding proposition

• Knowitall Jack – 3x winner on Sydney metropolitan tracks, offered by Mark Newnham Racing (as agent) who believe the gelding would suit Brisbane racing or could be a Darwin Cup type

• Mairie – Exceed And Excel mare in foal to Frosted, from the family of Kermadec

• Maui Girl – daughter of Lope de Vega that ran 4th in the G3 Newcastle Newmarket last week and is from a Stakes-winning More Than Ready mare

• Miner’s Miss – G1-placed in the VRC Oaks, offered in the broodmare category

• McLaren – offered as a stallion prospect by Newgate (as agent), the son of Exceed And Excel won the G3 Canonbury Stakes as a 2YO and is from the family of Headwater

SW McLaren is being offered for sale..

• Mizzna – Montjeu mare that’s produced G3 winner Moozoon plus a $320,000 Magnus filly purchased by Astute Bloodstock and Ciaron Maher Racing at the recent Inglis Premier Sale, offered with a Magnus colt at foot

• Osamu – twice Stakes-placed son of Exceed And Excel and Written Dash, offered as part of the Aquis Farm racehorse reduction

There are also mares in foal to stallions such as All Too Hard, Brave Smash, Headwater, Hellbent, Ilovethiscity, Menari, Merchant Navy, Pierata, Shamus Award, So You Think, Starspangledbanner, Written By and Zousain.

Plus, multiple listings offered by Bjorn Baker Racing, Chris Waller Racing, Gooree Park Stud, Hawkes Racing, Lindsay Park Racing, Newhaven Park, Rosemont Stud, Widden Stud are also entered.

The March (Early) Online Sale follows an extraordinary start to 2021 for Inglis Digital, including another Stakes-winning graduate with Mr Marathon Man ($70,000 2020 July (Early) Sale) claiming the Listed Canberra Cup on Monday.

There were further Inglis Digital success stories during the Adelaide Yearling Sale this week, with two pinhooked yearlings returning up to 21 times their Digital price tag.

An Invader x Lawmaker colt purchased for $6000 in the October (Late) Sale by Rathmore Bloodstock, fetched $130,000 when bought by Mitchell Bloodstock/Freedman Brothers.

And Edinburgh Park’s Ian Smith celebrated when his Sooboog x Regroth filly sold for $180,000 to Will Clarken/Suman Hedge Bloodstock/David Jolly, having been purchased from the Inglis Digital November (Late) Sale for $25,000.
