The colt was bought by Bahen Bloodstock/ Matt Laurie Racing, who secured four horses in the first session for $2,020,000 putting them second on the leading buyers by aggregate list behind only Ciaron Maher Bloodstock.
From the second crop of Arrowfield Stud’s young gun sire Shalaa (IRE), the colt is the second foal of metro winning Commands mare Our Daisy, who comes from the family of Group I winners Emerald Dream, Shooting to Win and leading sire Deep Field.
He is the second highest priced yearling ever sold in the Southern Hemisphere by Shalaa, who has been quick to impress here as the sire Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Shaquero.
Our Daisy has a colt foal to follow by Yulong’s foundation sire Grunt and is back in foal to him again.
