The latest of gavelhouse.com’s fortnightly New Zealand mixed bloodstock sales is a bumper offering with 71 Lots including a young I Am Invincible mare in foal to Almanzor, well-related racing propositions from Valachi Downs and the Bella Vinci dispersal among other quality Lots.

I Am Invincible daughter Majella Magic will prove to be well-sought after, being offered in-foal to Cambridge Stud’s European Champion Three-Year-Old and Leading Australasian Freshman Sire, Almanzor.

Herself a winner of three up to 1200m, Majella Magic boasts an ever-strengthening pedigree with her second dam Jade Diva and this the family of Group winners Bliss Street and Jade Marauder.

The Bella Vinci dispersal sale includes shares in stallions Shocking and Redwood plus a range of youngstock, racing propositions and broodmares including:

  • Prickle  (Pins) offered with a Sacred Falls filly at foot. She is the dam of G1 Queensland Derby Winner Brambles and of G3 Wellington Stakes winner Lincoln Blue.  
  • Rose Alba (Verglas) offered in-foal to Group One producing sire, Redwood. From a commercial international family, her dam is a half to America, the dam Gr.1 Melbourne Cup hero Americain.
  • Zazzle – an untried two-year-old son of Burgundy, he is a half to Happy Hippy who was precocious enough to win at two and went on to claim multiple stakes victories with added placings in the Gr.1 Queen of the Turf Stakes and Gr.1 Coolmore Classic.

Other leading sires that feature across the categories include All Too Hard, Atlante, Fastnet Rock, Iffraaj, Reliable Man, Sacred Falls, Savabeel, Shocking, Showcasing, So You Think and Written Tycoon.
