Newgate Farm's hot young stallion Capitalist chalked up his fourth first-crop winner in Australia, and fifth overall, when Redgum Racing's filly Tycoon Humma made an impressive career debut over a 1000m at Bendigo on Saturday.
Ridden by Jamie Mott for trainer John McArdle, Tycoon Humma finished full of running to defeat the Frosted (USA) colt Frostin' by two and a quarter lengths with the Zoustar colt Midwest a further two lengths back in third.
They are out of the Melbourne winning Bel Esprit mare Humma Mumma who will have a Zoustar filly in the Flinders Park Stud draft at the Inglis Premier on February 28 Lot 87.
Currently sitting at the top of the first Season sire standins, Capitalist has 17 lots catalogued for the Inglis Premier. View them here.
