With a seven figure yearling on Thursday, Arrowfield Stud continue to lead the way by aggregate after the second session of the 2017 Magic Millions Yearling Sale selling 25 yearlings for $6,935,000, while the leading vendor by average is Paul Whelan's Luskin Park, which has taken a narrow margin over Strawberry Hill.

Snitzel gave Arrowfield their highlight of the sale so far when a colt from Sabanci made $1.1 million when knocked down to Waller Racing / Mulcaster Bloodstock.



The colt is a full brother to this season's stakes-placed two year-old Bowerman and is the second foal of a half-sister to Group I winning sprinter Green Birdie from the family of Group I winners Onemorenomore and Casino Prince.

Aquis Farm slipped into the Top 10 vendors by aggregate in tenth place as the only non-NSW farm in the Top 10, their 10 yearlings offered all sold for $2,530,000 highlighted by a $1million Medaglia d'Oro (USA) colt from Sangfroid.

Luskin Park shot to the top of the vendors by average list selling three yearlings at an average $353,333.



Their top seller was a lovely filly by All Too Hard from Foxwedge's stakes-winning sister She's a Fox that made $600,000 when bought by Prime Thoroughbreds.
