Sir Prancealot to Shuttle to Cornerstone Stud

Media Release - Tuesday January 10
Europe's Champion Freshman Sire, SIR PRANCEALOT, will be shuttling from Tally Ho Stud in Ireland to Cornerstone Stud in South Australia from 2017.

With 32 individual winners SIR PRANCEALOT was Champion First Season Sire by both winners and prizemoney finishing ahead of Helmet and Frankel. Included in the long list of winners were Group III winner MADAM DANCEALOT and Listed winner SIR DANCEALOT.

SIR PRANCEALOT will be traveling from Tally Ho with ZEBEDEE (by Invincible Spirit) who has shuttled to Cornerstone Stud for the past two seasons.

"The O'Callaghans have been a pleasure to deal with and with the ongoing assistance of Johnny and Susie McKeever we are delighted to be standing another leading sire for Tally Ho Stud," explained Sam Hayes.

Sir Prancealot was a fast precocious sprinterSIR PRANCEALOT was himself a precocious 2YO winning his first two starts the second of which was a stakes race at Sandown.

He went on to run fourth in Group II Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot behind Dawn Approach and fourth in the Group I Prix Morny at Deauville before winning the Group II Doncaster Flying Childers Stakes at his last start.

"It takes something special to beat the likes of Frankel in a sire's premiership. SIR PRANCEALOT and ZEBEDEE are upgrading mares with exceptional consistency and that is one of the benefits of breeding to proven stallions," Hayes said.

SIR PRANCEALOT'S fee will be announced in March. For more information please call Sam Hayes on 0438 767 277.
