Let’s Find the Widden Winners – ZOUSTAR

Tara Madgwick - Sunday January 1
150 years of thoroughbred breeding at Widden Stud by the Thompson family have left a lasting legacy on the Australian racing and breeding industry, but it's the future that interests us and in particular their new stallions, starting with Zoustar.

The heir apparent to his ill-fated sire Northern Meteor, who stood at Widden for just four seasons, Zoustar is the best son of a top class sire that was gone all too soon.

An explosive son of Encosta de Lago, Northern Meteor was the Champion Australian First Season Sire and has left 21 stakes-winners to date, six of them Group I winners with Zoustar poised to carry forward his success.

Zoustar has an impressive 42 entries for Magic Millions, seven of them to be offered by Widden Stud as below.

Half-brother to Group I placed Group III winner Sharnee Rose.

Lot 9 Filly Zoustar x Fast Talker, by Fastnet Rock
