Stakes Quinella for Outreach

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday February 10

The $150,000 Listed Gold Sovereign (1200m) at Launceston on Wednesday was won in dominant fashion by Outreach gelding Turk Warrior, who has a half-brother by exciting young sire Zululand entered for the Tasmanian Magic Millions Yearling Sale next month.

Trained by Glen Stevenson, Turk Warrior was favourite to keep his undefeated record intact for this Black Type assignment and bolted clear to win by three and half lengths over another Outreach gelding in Outbound with Capitalist filly Miss Tuppence running a good third on debut.
