Storm the Stars Headed for Germany

The Chris Waller trained Storm the Stars (USA), a blue-blooded entire that placed in both Epsom and Irish Derbies in 2015, will continue his racing career in Germany in 2017.

Storm the StarsClosely related to champion racehorse and sire Giant's Causeway and Champion 2 and 3YO Gleneagles, Storm the Stars will be trained by Andreas Wohler.

Wohler explained on his website that his owner Sheikh Juma Dalmook al Maktoum is hoping that next season will pave the way for Storm The Stars to stand at stud.

He has been flown to Germany after serving four weeks in quarantine.

By Galileo's champion half-brother Sea the Stars, Storm the Stars failed to find his best form in Australia with Group II placings in the ATC Hill Stakes and Chelmsford Stakes his best performances.
