The Kelly family of Newhaven Park are renowned for producing top class thoroughbreds and their 26 strong draft for Inglis Classic promises to keep up their great tradition for excellence.

In 2020, Newhaven Park have enjoyed tremendous success on the track with the likes of Group I winners Shout The Bar and Odeum, stakes-winning filly Kissonallforcheeks, sensational Singapore trained dual Group I winner Inferno, Queensland cult hero The Harrovian and rising 2 year old star Robodira all bred, raised or sold from their historic Boorowa farm.

Current season Group I winner Odeum was bred and sold by Newhaven Park.

The Newhaven Park Inglis Classic draft for 2021 features yearlings by a wide variety of popular and proven sires guaranteed to make broad appeal right across the market and includes nine yearlings by the farm’s exciting young sire Xtravagant.

A Champion 3YO in New Zealand and a superior sprinter miler by Pentire (GB), Xtravagant has had less than a handful of runners with his progeny expected to hit their straps in the latter part of the season.

From the first crop of brilliant Redoute’s Choice juvenile Pariah and has had a good pedigree update as he is now a half-brother to not one, but two winners since Investor (3g Written Tycoon) won at Canterbury.

 

Fourth foal of Group III placed Greytfilly from the family of Group winners Bring Me Roses, Face Value and Diamond Earth.

He is a lovely representation of a first season sire. He is a sweet moving colt.

Half-brother to Group III placed Mintha and three other winners from metro winning daughter of Champion 2YO Hasna, a dual Group I winner of $1.2million.

A smart looking colt who looks like a 2 year old. He is a gun Xtravagant colt for the true believers.

From the first crop of I Am Invincible’s Group I winner Hellbent from stakes-placed Jaquetta, a sibling to Group winners Count Encosta and Lieutenant. Another with a pedigree update as he is now a half-brother to two winners, Turquoise Hope (3g Snitzel) winning twice since the catalogue went to print.

This colt looks just like his dad, he has a great attitude and is a racehorse in waiting.

Half-brother to metro winner Super Oasis and is third foal of a winning half-sister to Champion 2YO and 3YO Filly and $3.4million earner English from Group II winner Court.

He’s out a Shamardal mare by Champion first season sire. He is a lovely scopey horse who looks like he will go early and will train on.

First foal of precocious early two year-old winner Carriages, winner of the $150,000 Magic Millions Ballarat Clockwise Classic from an imported US Black Type family.

A lovely filly out a very fast race mare, Carriages. She has all the attributes of Hinchinbrook and Xtravagant moulded into one.

From the first crop of Lonhro’s Group I winning son Impending and is a half-sister to two winners from a winning half-sister to Group I winner Mission Critical and Group II winner Brilliant Light. Bred on successful Lonhro x Exceed and Excel nick that runs at 10.5% stakes-winners to runners and has produced 12 SW’s headed by Group I winner Bounding.

A filly that lives up to her big page, lovely mover great physique. If you think Impending is a good stallion, this filly will run.
