Rebel Dane has not raced since winning the Group I Manikato Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley on October 16 and will be having his 22nd start at the highest level in Sunday's International Sprint.

Trainer Gary Portelli told Radio RSN the seven-year-old entire has arrived in good order.

"He travelled really well. I've spoken to my foreman, they got in about 930pm (AEDST) last night," Portelli said.

"By the time they got to the stables it was close to midnight - so a long day for them.

"Today will be an interesting day, he's got to get over the flight and settle in. The first twenty four hours is always critical.

"We've done everything we need to do at trackwork. He doesn't need any more gallops. Ben (Melham) is already there and he'll jump on him tomorrow for a trot and a canter."

Sportsbet rate Rebel Dane a $16 chance behind the $3.50 favourite Lucky Bubbles.
