Godolphin Swoop on $900,000 for I Am Invincible Filly

Godolphin made their first purchase at the 2021 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on Wednesday when outlaying $900,000 for a cracking I Am Invincible filly from former brilliant sprinting filly Eloping.

Consigned by Segenhoe, she was bred in partnership by Segenhoe with Michael Christian’s Saconi Thoroughbreds, who operate out of Longwood Thoroughbred Farm in Victoria.

She is the second foal of Eloping, a multiple Group III winner of over $1.4million by Choisir, whose daughters have nicked particularly well with I Am Invincible to produce nine winners from 10 runners, two of them the stakes-winners Eckstein and I Am Eloquent.

Eloping had a filly by Trapeze Artist last spring and is now in foal to Snitzel.
