Stud's Your Song and Vinery Stud's All Too Hard have been trading blows since
August 1 and after posting a smart winner at Wodonga on Monday, Your Song has
drawn level with his arch rival, the pair now on eight winners apiece.
Prepared by Brent Stanley, three year-old gelding Mission Vision broke the ice
with a long neck win over 1590 metres as favourite.
He overcame a wide gate to finish off well at his first attempt at a slightly longer
journey.
A $45,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Glentree Thoroughbreds draft,
Mission Vision is the first winner for Express Street, a half-sister by Street
Sense (USA) to triple Group I winner Sea Siren, who is by Your Song's sire
Fastnet Rock.
He is the 17th first crop winner for Your Song, who is fully booked this
spring at a fee of $22,000.
