First season sires have provided plenty of action of late and the first race at Flemington on New Year’s Day features five runners by the young guns highlighted by two sired by Frosted (USA).
Both fillies are homebreds for Godolphin in Frost Flowers and Translation, who has raced once for a second to Vandoula Lass.

Frost Flowers is a half-sister to last season’s top class juvenile Hanseatic being from good producer Itameri, whose grand-dam is blue hen Scandinavia.
Pedigree is not lacking in Frost Flowers and possibly neither is ability as she is well fancied in early markets and has Jamie Kah to ride.
