Racenet tip sheet - Morphettville, Saturday September 09

Breednet - Saturday September 9

This is the Racenet preview and tip sheet for Saturday’s meeting at Morphettville.

The track is rated a soft(7) and the rail is in the true position 1200m-w/post; 1m remainder position.

Racenet’s summaries and tips for the meeting are.

Race 1 summary - DANGER DEAL is clearly one of SA's best maidens resuming. Placed in 5/7 race starts to date including runner-up in Magic Millions Classic. Narrowly missed against G3 company last time out. Ideally probably better suited over slightly longer however has classes on most of these. Expecting the speedy MONDO MAGIC to give another big on-pace sight. Obviously very close to a win and does have race fitness on his side. Respecting the debutant CHAROSSA with M.Neilson taking the ride whilst MILITARY OPERATION also shapes as a likely improver.
Race 1 tips - 1st: DANGER DEAL (6), 2nd: MONDO MAGIC (11), 3rd: CHAROSSA (5), 4th: MILITARY OPERATION (10).

Race 2 summary - COUNTERPLAY most promising Stokes trained filly resuming. Won only two race starts to date including last start most impressive 4.5L blitzing of rivals. Looked good scoring in a recent trial. Clear top pick! AZZURO BIANCO is another handy type resuming. Indicated ability when last in work including claiming the scalp of the promising Éclair Sunshine. Loved the debut effort of MAZESTIC when really hitting the line strongly late. Likely type that certainly can't be underestimated here. Place claims only to the consistent Weir trained visitor SECRET REWARD.
Race 2 tips - 1st: COUNTERPLAY (3), 2nd: AZZURO BIANCO (2), 3rd: MAZESTIC (7), 4th: SECRET REWARD (5).

Race 3 summary - KELLSTORM comes into this off the back of two comfortable/strong wins, both importantly over this same track/dist. Rises just 0.5kg here. Clearly the one to beat again. VERREAUX is a last start Bendigo winner that drops a whopping 10kg here. Certainly no issues with him getting the 2500m-danger! Obviously must respect the honest THE WILLYBE that is again close to another win. Is however a query over the longer 2500m?? Next best FLYING CASINO that is another that will stay all day.
Race 3 tips - 1st: KELLSTORM (2), 2nd: VERREAUX (6), 3rd: THE WILLYBE (4), 4th: FLYING CASINO (3).

Race 4 summary - Siding with the Lindsay Park trained MUTAMAYEL that is underfeated in only two race starts to date. This clearly toughest test to date however ratings suggest he is more than up to most of these. SKY PUNCH was more than competitive behind MUTAMAYEL last start. Obviously expecting those formlines to stand up strongly for this and again must rate a genuine danger again. Also must respect the promising BRING ME ROSES. EVIL CRY next best.
Race 4 tips - 1st: MUTAMAYEL (2), 2nd: SKY PUNCH (4), 3rd: BRING ME ROSES (10), 4th: EVIL CRY (7).

Race 5 summary - QUILISTA speedy Ex-WA mare that led t'out to score game win when having first run for Weir Stable last start. Has only previously missed placings once in ten career starts to date. Hard to beat again. In saying that have enormous respect for NODOUBTABOUTIT that was so impressive when overcoming plenty of adversity to score last start. Looks to get in enormous at the weights. SHOWPERO can also give another big on-pace sight. They look the three.
Race 5 tips - 1st: QUILISTA (2), 2nd: NODOUBTABOUTIT (6), 3rd: SHOWPERO (7), 4th: BEAUTIFUL FLYER (4).

Race 6 summary - HUSSYBAY is a promising type resuming. Underfeated in two previous first-up runs and suggest drawn ideally to give another big on-pace sight with M.Neilson now jumping aboard. MICA BE THE ONE came with a big run to score strong last start win. Surely now peaks for this and confidently suggest we still haven't seen the best of this mare. Strong claims again given just even luck. Expect MISS MURRA to be the sharp improver now she gets big positive rider change with in-form J.Kah jumping aboard. Also impossible to dismiss the consistent MAGNUS KNIGHT.
Race 6 tips - 1st: HUSSYBAY (2), 2nd: MICA BE THE ONE (7), 3rd: MISS MURRA (8), 4th: MAGNUS KNIGHT (3).

Race 7 summary - The form of SO YOU TOO when last in work was simply outstanding which included a G2 placing over this same track/dist. Appears to get in enormous down on the minimum-just needs that even luck in running to see him charge over the top of these late. Absolutely respecting the Weir trained OBERLAND that was terrific in tougher race last start. Drawn more favourably and surely only strips fitter again. Impossible not to respect BOGGOMS that appears ideally drawn to give a big sight whilst GO THE JOURNEY also warrants respect.
Race 7 tips - 1st: SO YOU TOO (12), 2nd: OBERLAND (8), 3rd: BOGGOMS (7), 4th: GO THE JOURNEY (3).

Race 8 summary - Siding with the ex-NZ galloper NIGHT'S WATCH that hasn't surprisingly won both starts since joining the strong D.Weir yard. Gives every indication to step up to the mile can only be a positive-hard to beat again. In saying that placing a big watch on the ex-Irish galloper ROMANESQUE. Actually hasn't been too bad in only two Australian runs since coming off nearly a year lay-off. Surely only strips fitter again and certainly wouldn't shock to see sharp improvement. Reckon OPTIMIZE is now due and expect her to again give another big on-pace sight whilst BEAU'S MY BOY also warrants respect.
Race 8 tips - 1st: NIGHT'S WATCH (3), 2nd: ROMANESQUE (6), 3rd: OPTIMIZE (4), 4th: BEAU'S MY BOY (14).
