Racenet's blackbook runners for Saturday

Breednet - Friday September 8

Each week Racenet's video review analysts highlight a runner from each state to follow and here are the horses recently blackbooked that are racing around Australia on Saturday.

We will follow the horses in their two subsequent starts to being blackbooked.

MORPHETTVILLE

MAZESTIC (Race 2 No. 7)
The horse was blackbooked at the Morphettville meeting on August 29 and our analyst said : John MacMillon-trained filly that produced an encouraging debut when charging home late against a moderate tempo with an interrupted run to the line. It should prove a good race as the winner indicated plenty of promise when it had no luck in Listed company last campaign. Mazestic went around big odds and she will have taken plenty of benefit from the experience and gives every indication she is looking for longer than last Saturday's 1100m. She's a likely big improver next time she steps out.
Odds $5.50 @ Bet365

BRING ME ROSES (Race 4 No. 10)
The horse was blackbooked at the Morphettville meeting on July 22 and our analyst said : Promising Tony McEvoy-trained rising three-year-old filly that has found the line strongly in each of her two starts including Saturday's third in Listed company over 1400m. Got back, then a wide run and stopped in her tracks turning for home before unleashing a huge sprint once balanced up to incredibly get within three-quarters of a length of the winner. Being a daughter of High Chaparral, I suspect she is screaming out for more ground and still untapped so expect she will keep improving. We might see this one in better races over the next few months.
Odds $4 @ Bet365
