Quaddie attack Saturday

Breednet - Friday September 8

There is nothing better than cheering home the final leg to land a fat quaddie and Racenet’s analysts have put their heads together to give you a chance at a big dividend on Saturday.

Here are our suggested quadrella strategies.

Rosehill

1st leg

2, 3, 7, 10, 12

2nd leg

4, 5, 7

3rd leg

4, 13

4th leg

3, 5, 6, 11

120 Combinations

Analysis: It’s hard to see the winner of the Run To The Rose coming away from Menari, Pariah and Chauffeur so we’ll stand those out. Gerald Ryan could be going for a race to race double with Tango Rain in the next which looks hard to beat while the first and last legs are more open.

$20 investment = 16.67%

Moonee Valley

1st leg

1, 3, 6, 8, 11

2nd leg

2

3rd leg

5, 6, 9, 10, 11

4th leg

1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 11

150 Combinations

Analysis: Brave Smash looks the anchor in the second leg. It was an amazing performance when second to subsequent Group I winner Vega Magic and he should be too good. Really open and competitive racing in the remaining legs. With many horses resuming and with targets deeper into the spring it is hard to line them up.

$20 investment = 13.33%

Doomben

1st leg

1, 3, 4, 7

2nd leg

7, 8, 9, 10

3rd leg

6, 4

4th leg

1 ,2, 3, 4, 8

160 Combinations

Analysis: We’ve narrowed down the third leg to two winning hopes, Sabkhat and Monteux. Sabhkat looks ready to win while Monteux is in good form and the drop in trip isn’t a concern. Remaining three legs look open and not many would surprise.

$20 investment = 12.5%

Morphettville

1st leg

2

2nd leg

1, 2, 3, 7

3rd leg

3, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12

4th leg

3

24 combinations

Analysis: Expecting two Melbourne visitors from the Darren Weir yard to be too strong in the opening and final legs of the Morphettville quaddie. Quilista is a smart former WA mare that scored an impressive win at Caulfield first-up last start. Hard to see her getting beaten off that performance. Night’s Watch stood out in the final event. This former New Zealander looks bound for better races and should take care of this moderate field.

$20 investment = 83%

Belmont

1st leg

4

2nd leg

1, 4, 5

3rd leg

2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9

4th leg

4, 5, 9

54 Combinations

Analysis: Just Act Natural is our anchor in the opening leg after being game in defeat last start in the Idyllic Prince Stakes. Looks much better placed under the handicap conditions here and clearly the one to beat. The third leg is a competitive affair with a number of in-form gallopers set to clash over the mile. Expect Undisclosed to be hard to beat in the final leg but taking some insurance there.

$20 investment = 37%
