Inglis Digital September Early Online Features Quality

Media Release - Friday September 4

A dual G1-placed mare is the standout in a stellar line up of fillies and mares in the 185-strong September (Early) Online Sale, which has opened for bidding this afternoon.

High-class racemare Sheezdashing (Myboycharlie) was beaten a combined margin of just 0.5 lengths when second to Sopressa in the G1 Schweppes Oaks and third behind Youngstar in the G1 Queensland Oaks.

Sheezdashing

She defeated the likes of Aloisia, Savacool, Semari, Think Bleue, Miss Gunpowder and Kenedna during a career littered with top-class pieces of form.

Sheezdashing is from a current black-type family, being out of a half sister to Celebrity Girl – while daughters of Myboycharlie include Jameka (sold for $2.6 million), Peggy Jean (sold for $1 million) and Euro Charline (sold for 750,000 guineas).

Other highlights in the September (Early) catalogue include:

• Dismissal – 3YO Not A Single Doubt filly that was G2 placed in the Sweet Embrace, offered as a racing and breeding proposition

• The Spell – Winning daughter of Rubick and $420,000 Inglis Easter yearling, she’s a half sister to G1 Champagne Stakes winner The Mission and offered as a maiden broodmare

The August (Late) Online Sale – which had 237 lots – was the ninth sale this year to surpass more than $2 million.

While Inglis Digital vendors have been enjoying great success with quality fillies and mares offered online – most recently with Sylpheed (Real Saga) and Foxpack (Foxwedge) selling for $80,000 last sale – buyers have also been repaing the rewards on the racetrack.

Another Stakes winner joined the graduate list last weekend when Sky Punch ($30,000 August 2019) won the Listed Leon Macdonald Stakes at Morphettville.

G1 winner Bella Vella ($22,500 April Online) and Prairie Fire ($25,000 January Online) will represent the platform in the G2 McEwen Stakes and G3 Concorde Stakes respectively tomorrow, proving again there is value to be found in each and every catalogue.
