Media Release - Sunday August 23

The breeding season is about to start and for investors still looking for that something special the current Inglis Digital August Online Sale features a hidden gem.

Lot 209 - click for the pedigree page.

Lot 209 is Well Done You, an unraced half-sister to Group 1 winner Invincibella, who last month was sold at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for $1.3 million to Coolmore Stud.

With a prizemoney tally of just over $3 million, Invincibella is I Am Invincible’s highest earner to date.

Invincibella was one of the star lots at the 2020 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale

Now in the hands of Coolmore she is destined to visit the best stallions at stud in Australia, and possibly in the Northern Hemisphere over the coming years.

Well Done You is also a full sister to Sizzling’s only stakes winner in Secret Blaze, already a winner of over $500,000 and Sizzling highest earner to date.

Well Done You is a full sister to G2 placed stakes-winner Secret Blaze, a winner of over $580,000

Well Done You's dam Abscond is by legendary sire Galileo and has an 2018 Extreme Choice colt which sold for $340,000 at this year’s Inglis Easter Yearling Sale becoming Extreme Choice’s highest selling first crop yearling, going into the stable of leading trainer Anthony Freedman.

Abscond also has a 2019 Spirit of Boom colt and is due to foal this coming season to dual Group 1 winner Russian Revolution (by Snitzel).

Well Done You's half-sister Temolie (2014 by Star Witness), placed once in 7 starts, and was sold for $130,000 to Edinburgh Park Stud at the 2019 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.

At the time she was carrying her first pregnancy to the stallion Super One. She subsequently foaled a filly and was mated to Trapeze Artist ($88,000 service fee) last season.

There are no real genetic weaknesses in Well Done You's pedigree. Being by a son of 4 times Champion Australian Sire in Snitzel, out of a mare by recent world record breaker Galileo. Her next three dams are all by multiple Champion Sires and Broodmare Sires – Zabeel, Noble Bijou and Mellay.

Well Done You (15.3hh) is a very rare opportunity to buy into a current high profile family which is unquestionably in its ascendency.

She has been retired sound and has been boxed under lights in preparation for an early cover in her maiden breeding season.
