Prepared by Mick Price and Mick Kent Jr, Night Raid was fourth beaten a little over a length at her only previous start at Flemington behind subsequent stakes-winner A Beautiful Night back in January.

She led all the way at Tatura at her first run since then and thrashed her rivals to win the 1100m maiden running away by seven lengths eased down.
