Norzita (NZ) (Thorn Park) - Had three named foals for previous owners, two raced and both have won headed by Group II placed Carif. Now with Arrowfield and produced a Snitzel filly last year and is in foal to The Autumn Sun.
Diademe (NZ) (Savabeel) -First two foals for previous owners are Group II placed Conqueror and this season’s juvenile stakes-winner Unition, both colts by Fastnet Rock, the former making $1million as a yearling at Karaka 2018.
Diademe is now in the ownership of Gerry Harvey and has had two foals for him, a yearling filly by Vancouver and a weanling filly by Snitzel. She is now in foal to I Am Invincible.
Omei Sword (High Chaparral (IRE) – Now at Arrowfield, she was sent to Japan for her first mating and produced a colt by Deep Impact last year and is now in foal to I Am Invincible.
Nurse Kitchen (NZ) (Savabeel) – Raced on for another season after her sale, but did not improve her record as a Group II winner. Produced a colt by Zoustar last year and is back in foal to him again.
Melito (Redoute’s Choice) – Had her first foal, a colt by Encosta de Lago, in Australia and was then sent to Ireland. That colt, Campbell Junior, made $400,000 at 2014 Inglis Easter when bought by Katsumi Yoshida and ended up winning five races and being Group III placed in Japan.
In Ireland, Melito has had three named foals by Galileo and has an unnamed two year-old colt by the champion sire. Only one has raced and he’s two time winner Palazzo Corsini.
Her five year-old daughter Roudha, was bought by Emirates Park for 500,000 guineas at the 2016 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and she is now back in Australia having retired unraced. She had a filly by I Am Invincible for Emirates last spring and is back in foal to him.
Booker (Written Tycoon) – Sold this year off the track.
Lipari (Redoute’s Choice) – First three foals for previous owners all stakes-winners, Group I winner Levendi and Group III winners Wu Gok and Marcel from Madrid. Her next two foals, fillies by Sebring and More Than Ready (USA) sold for $500,000 and $550,000.
Now owned by Gerry Harvey, she produced a colt by I Am Invincible last year and is back in foal to him again.
Heatherly (Lonhro)- First foal is a yearling filly by Written Tycoon, then she missed to Russian Revolution and is now in foal to him.
Polska (Encosta de Lago) – Was already the dam of Group II winners Catch a Fire and Seaburge prior to sale and is now owned by GSA Bloodstock. Has had three foals for new owners, a Sebring colt that made $300,000 at Inglis Easter 2019 and is unraced, then two fillies by Snitzel. She is now in foal to Dundeel.
Sweet Idea (Snitzel) – Was bought at the sale by part-owner Nick Vass, but sold privately again not long after to UK based bloodstock agent John Warren on behalf of The Queen for a sum believed to be around double what she made at the sale.
Valourina (Snippets) – Had already produced Group II winners Timbourina and Media prior to sale and another stakes-winner Cardinal Virtue not long after. She produced eight subsequent named foals for new owners SF Bloodstock, seven of them raced and six have won, but no Black Type horses and they combined to return nearly $1.3million from yearling sales.
Valourina was pensioned from stud duties last year, her overall stud record reading 16 named foals, 14 to race, 13 winners and she is also the grand-dam of Group II winner Noire and stakes-winner Tashbeeh, also the third dam of Group III ATC Breeders Plate winner Global Quest.
