Fifth Winner for Super One

Tara Madgwick - Friday June 5

Sent out a hot favourite for the $24,750 Kooringal Stud Lamont Classic at Wagga on Friday, two year-old Super One gelding Another One got the job done in style.

Trained by Gary Colvin, Another One was an unlucky second on debut during the Wagga Cup Carnval in April and atoned for that defeat with a commanding win.

He relished the soft ground and 1300m to win by nearly two lengths.

An $18,000 Inglis Classic purchase for his trainer from the Bowness Stud draft, Another One was bred by Bowness and is the fourth winner from four foals to race from Herewegoagain, a winning Hussonet (USA) daughter of stakes-winner Vignor.

Super One

Another One is the fifth winner for I Am Invincible’s brilliant son Super One, who stands at the fee of $11,000 at Newgate Farm this spring
