LA Creates an 80 Year Covid Special

Media Release - Thursday April 30

80 Years of breeding thoroughbreds is something special. COVID is not what we call special but it has created a special environment.

Per IncantoLittle Avondale’s announcement of its service fees for 2020 was made prior to the onset of the COVID pandemic. Considering subsequent events and the economic implications for breeding horses and the economy in general, Little Avondale have created an LA 80yr COVID SPECIAL which includes lowering the service fees for all three of their impeccably bred stallions.

From humble beginnings Per Incanto has done it the hard way to join the elite of NZ stallions.

With 22 stakes performers in the last 20 months and an exceptional sales average, breeders have a unique opportunity to obtain a significant profit at his NEW 2020 fee of $15,000 plus GST.

A son of the phenomenal international Champion sire Dubawi, Time Test’s performance and pedigree ensured outstanding breeder support since standing his first NH season at The English National Stud in 2018.

Bruce Perry is a fan of Time TestCovering 564 mares so far and with a crop of weanlings at LA that are the talk of the breeders, the dual Group 2 winner is incredible value at his LA 80yr COVID SPECIAL fee of just $6,000 plus GST.

"On leaving LA Stud after looking at all the Time Test foals, the first thing I did was call Lib and say - I think we stuffed up. We should have bought more shares in him, ”said Owner/Breeder BRUCE PERRY

With his 17th stakes winner in the season under review, NZ breeders cannot access a better value sire than Redoute’s Choices son Nadeem, who, under the LA 80yr COVID SPECIAL will stand the upcoming season at $4,000 plus GST.

Celebrating 80 years of breeding and proudly NZ’s oldest family owned thoroughbred stud, Little Avondale recognises more than ever the importance of breeders in these unique times.

“Our focus is to assist breeders to breed their Champion. These fees, for this year, with these stallions make that possible,” Little Avondale Owner SAM WILLIAMS.
