Cambridge Stud Appoint New General Manager
Cambridge Stud is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Tappenden as their General Manager. Ben is returning home after spending eight years in England at the renowned Whitsbury Manor Stud in Hampshire, working for the Harper family.

Laundry Cottage Stud is the farm that produced our Cox Plate winner Via Sistina and also Wootton Bassett, one of the hottest sires this year, and they made an interesting purchase during Tattersalls December Mares Sale Day 2 with a great interview from Gina Bryce with her dad Colin Bryce, who co-owns this G1 producing nursery.
Sister to Chaldean Equals Euro Record at 2.5m Guineas at Tattersalls December Foal Sale
The FRANKEL own-sister to 2000 Guineas winner CHALDEAN, currently at Cambridge Stud in New Zealand, equalled the European record price for a foal when selling for 2,500,000 guineas to Amo Racing on an extraordinary day of trade at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale. The session saw the five highest priced foals to sell in Europe this year, and record turnover for a day at a European foal sale.
Another week and another stakes-winner in the Cambridge Stud colours, while a progressive mare is poised to step up to stakes class.
