More Than ReadyA brilliant win by Unencumbered in the $200,000 Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic RL on Thursday has again put the spotlight on his dam sire More Than Ready (USA), who has made a big impact this year through his daughters siring the dams of three Group I winners.

The grand-son of Halo is now the sire of the dam of 14 stakes-winners in total led by Rebel Dane, Miracles of Life and Atlante, all three of them by Danehill (USA) line sires as is another of his Australian stakes-winner in Impetuous, while Unencumbered is by a Danzig line sire in Testa Rossa.

More Than Ready over Danehill line mares has always been seen as a very successful nick, so to see it working in reverse is hardly rocket science, but reassuring nevertheless coming into the yearling sales season.
