Recent form doesn't warrant such confidence but I'm expecting make a few bucks at Saturday's Caulfield Guineas meeting.
FOUNDRY (CAULFIELD – Race 4 No 3)
Lloyd Williams has mastered the art of getting a stayer to emerge in a spring carnival. Last year it was Almandin that benefited from perfect placement to get home on the first Tuesday in November and it appears Foundry is that horse this year. His two runs before his breakthrough win in Metropolitan Handicap were excellent and his Sydney success was sound even though he carried no weight. He goes up to 56kg for the Herbert Power Stakes but will be fitter again for his Metrop win and the confidence gained from his first win in more than three years will help him go on with the job on Saturday.

RELIGIFY (CAULFIELD - Race 5 No 2)
Religify resumes in the Listed Weekend Hussler Stakes and should be hard to beat first-up. The Chris Waller-trained galloper was in red-hot form with three wins from four outings during the Queensland winter carnival and all of those victories came at Listed level. He didn't do much in his trial at Rosehill on September 19 but I'm not concerned about that because he finished close-up in a Flemington jumpout on September 28. He has plenty of weight but will roll forward and make his own luck on Saturday and his first-up record is excellent. Most importantly, he has won 13 of 30 starts so knows how to get the job done on raceday.

INFERENCE (CAULFIELD – Race 7 No 7)
I think this bloke is going very well this time in and give him a good chance of filling a place and perhaps even causing an upset in the Ladbrokes Stakes. He worked home fairly well to get within 4-1/2 lengths of Winx first-up before he wasn't able to match Humidor's sprint but did his best work late over 1600m in the Makybe Diva Stakes. His last run in the Underwood Stakes was terrific, chasing well to get within 2-1/4 lengths of Bonneval and Hartnell at the end of the 1800m and the step to 2000m will suit the son of So You Think here. I expect him to settle a shade closer and be running on at the end of Saturday's race.

SUPER CASH (CAULFIELD - Race 10 No 11)
The Andrew Noblet-trained mare will chase a third straight first-up win in the Schillaci Stakes, which is the final event of Saturday's Caufield meeting, and she's a great chance of doing the job if she reproduces her fresh run last time in. Super Cash rolled forward, raced handy to the speed and outsprinted them to win the Rubiton Stakes in good fashion, beating Group I winner I Am A Star and the star sprinter Chautauqua. She wasn't far away in the Newmarket either and things didn't go her way in the Sangster in Adelaide in May. She loves the 1100m trip and I think that she'd be a lot shorter in betting if she was trained by a higher profile stable but Noblet is an under-rated trainer.
