More Success for Savanna Amour

Top class mare Savanna Amour made it back to back Group wins at Caulfield on Saturday when taking out the Group II MRC Ladbrokes Odds Boost Stakes, her dam Savanna La Mar a confirmed booking to visit Newgate Farm's brilliant Group I winning sprinter Flying Artie this spring.

A Group II and III winner last season as a three year-old filly, Savanna Amour (Image Grant Courtney) has returned in top form and was tenacious to the line for Brad Rawiller to snatch a head win in the 1200 metre sprint.



The Chris Meagher trained daughter of Love Conquers All has the impressive record of six wins from 12 starts and has won over $500,000 in prizemoney for her large group of OnTrack Thoroughbreds owners.

Star in the making - Savanna Amour as a foal at Newgate FarmA $100,000 Inglis Classic purchase for OnTrack Thoroughbreds from the Toolooganvale Farm draft, Savanna Amour was foaled and raised at Newgate Farm for SF Bloodstock and is the best of three winners from Savanna La Mar.

Her dam Savanna La Mar is by leading broodmare sire Stravinsky (USA) from the family of Golden Slipper winner Marauding and has been a regular visitor to Newgate Farm sires.

She has a yearling filly by Dissident and is due to foal to I Am Invincible's brilliantly fast son Super One.

Savanna Amour is the best of 35 winners sired by Sun Stud's Love Conquers All, who stands in Queensland at a fee of $12,100.
