NZB Launch World's Leading 2YO Sale Catalogue

Media Release - Monday September 6

Another high-quality catalogue has been assembled for the 2021 edition of New Zealand Bloodstock’s renowned Ready to Run Sale held at Karaka in November.

View the catalogue online here.

From Hong Kong headliners Golden Sixty (Medaglia d’Oro) and Beat the Clock (Hinchinbrook) to Caulfield Cup (2400m) and dual Derby hero Mongolian Khan (Holy Roman Emperor), plus other trans-Tasman Group One stars such as Turn Me Loose (NZ) (Iffraaj), Gingernuts (NZ) (Iffraaj) and Te Akau Shark (NZ) (Rip Van Winkle), the Sale boasts an international honour roll unrivalled by any other two-year-old sale on the planet.

  • In the last six seasons alone, NZB's Ready to Run graduates have claimed 20 Group One titles, compared with just five Group One wins for both Australian two-year-old sales combined, and 11 Group One wins for all combined Northern Hemisphere Breeze Up graduates.
  • Graduates of the last six editions of NZB’s Ready to Run Sale have earned on average an astounding 59% more prizemoney than Australian two-year-old sale graduates combined.
  • New Zealand Bloodstock has produced the highest ratio of winners to runners of any two-year-sale in Australasia in the past six years.

Those outstanding successes and statistics are a hard act to follow, but the class of 2021 are being given a perfect preparation under the watchful eye of highly respected kiwi horsemen and women.
