James
Harron Bloodstock bought just one yearling at the 2016 NZB Premier Yearling
Sale and he made it two wins in as many starts when scoring at Newcastle on
Tuesday.
Prepared by Peter and Paul Snowden, two year-old Snitzel colt Hypnotist won on
debut at the Beaumont track at Newcastle back in February and was tackling a
class one event against older horses in his first run since then.
He proved too good for the favourite Tip Top when forging clear to win by a
length.
A $240,000 NZB Premier purchase for JHB from the Highview draft, Hypnotist is
the first winner for unraced Pins mare My Amazing Dream, a sibling to
stakes-winners Kiss Me Ketut, Fast Love and a Chance to Dream.
Hypnotist is one of 149 winners this season for Snitzel, who is powering to his
first Champion Australian Sire title.
