Ten Gun Salute as a yearlingAlready a stakes-winner, the Duncan Howells trained son of former Coolmore shuttler Henrythenavigator (USA) took the 1900 metre feature by a length and a half.

Ten Gun Salute was a modest $10,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Heritage Bloodstock from the Supreme Thoroughbreds draft.

Ten Gun Salute has won four of 16 starts and is a half-brother to Group III winner Red Typhoon and stakes-placed Bella Princess being from good producing stakes-winner Ladybird Blue.
